The game becomes really serious in the 'tablet Djing' .. Djay 2, Traktor DJ, Cross DJ..
But Serato has taken another approach which is IMO, not the good way but..
I can really in a near future, all laptop thrown away from DJ scene because tablet are getting more and more powerful and so easy to easy.
The ability to use either the tablet in standalone mode, either the tablet connected to a small controller or a professional system (club mixers or players) is a HUGE plus !!
Give DJ a Ipad with at least 128Go and strong enough to run in a fluent way, Djs softwares with control cd/vynil or advanced controller and the game will turn into the money time quarter :) :) :)
So wake up Serato or you will die soon, I would love a Serato app to play my music prepare playlists with my Ipad then scynchronize them with my mac. I pay Traktor DJ only for that purpose and it's so useful that I actually use both SSL and Traktor..and I have to admit after many years of using SSL, traktor isn't that bad at all (remix decks, fx..) !!!
